UPCOMING FALL FIELD TRIPS!
SIGN UP NOW!!
During the spring and fall months, when the beech forest forms a mosaic of colors, we offer guided tours with a professional guide to the Irati Forest, a natural paradise of extraordinary beauty. Located in the Navarran Pyrenean valleys of Aézcoa and Salazar, next to the French border, with an area of 17,179 hectares, it is a unique place, the second largest beech forest in Europe. We will walk along different trails and paths to observe and photograph this magnificent place from different points. Autumn is undoubtedly the most beautiful season to photograph this beautiful forest, where the ochre, yellow, and red colors, together with the green of the fir trees, are a delight to the eye. The intense green of spring and the flow of water through the numerous streams that cross the Irati Forest are also a delight for the senses.
Discover the Irati Forest and its surroundings on a full-day excursion for groups of up to eight people. Scheduled departures on Saturdays, October 10, 17, 24, and 31, and November 7. We’ll enjoy the area’s most special landscapes and hidden gems, while also visiting other nearby sites. We also organize customized tours any day of the week during the months of October and November.
